There is a new scam going viral on Facebook about the 66th-anniversary celebration of McDonald’s.

Scammers have become once again active to dupe people on social media. This time, they deceived people by using the name of a well-known fast-food corporation-McDonald’s.

According to the sources scammers are posting videos of an ad in which McDonald is giving free gifts to everyone on the occasion of their 66th anniversary.

  • People have to share the video with at least 5 Facebook groups and after sending the video a link will be provided and by clicking on the link it will redirect to a phishing website in which people are asked to fill in their information.
  • Participants are required to complete a fake survey on a malicious website, where they will be tricked into submitting their personal or financial information in exchange for a free gift.


Beware of this kind of scam because and do not fall for this scam because it can cause you a lot of trouble and damage to both your financial and personal database because it is nothing more than another scam trick used by scammers to deceive people.
