There is an ongoing email scam that is sent by cybercriminals in the name of “Elon Musk’s Fan Club.”

People are getting emails in the name of Elon Musk fan’s club with an HTML file attached to it.

The emails are sent by cybercriminals to trick people into opening the HTML attachments, which operate codes that could seize all kinds of personal details about the people and send dangerous malware and viruses into the computers, mobile devices, and other devices that receive the email.

People are advised to avoid emails that contain HTML files, as well as files with the extensions.html or.htm. Legitimate websites do not send files with HTML extensions or HTML attachments because they are aware of the consequences that these attachments pose if sent by cybercriminals.
